This means customers can seamlessly switch from one eSIM network to another, which can be especially useful when traveling abroad and needing a temporary local SIM card.

Can existing Tri customers replace their physical SIM card with an eSIM?
Yes. For prepaid customers, you can replace your physical SIM card with an eSIM by visiting a 3Store. You can find the nearest 3Store at care.tri.co.id/store-locator.
Before the eSIM installation process, please ensure that your IMEI2 is registered with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) to ensure smooth eSIM usage. For IMEI2 verification, registration, or unblocking services, you can contact the Kemenperin hotline at 159 (available on working days from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM).
How to set up / install eSIM on your device?
After you purchase or replace your eSIM, you will receive a QR code and an activation code to set up the eSIM on your device.
1. How to set up eSIM on iOS devices
Go to Settings > Cellular
Select Add eSIM
Scan the QR code
Follow the instructions provided to activate the eSIM
2. How to set up eSIM on Android devices
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
Select Add eSIM
Scan the QR code or enter the activation details manually
If the steps above have been completed but you are still experiencing issues, you can contact customer service through Tri’s official website or visit the nearest 3Store in your city.
